The Foyer

So the Black Box is getting a new foyer.

Expanding the auditorium has meant that changes have been made in the layout of both the backstage and the foyer.

Also the work that’s been ongoing in the theatre—the installation of the ceiling, for instance—has meant that it’s not easy to show what’s been happening in the foyer. But now we’re able to give you some idea!!

We moved the theatre door.

We took out the original benches.

Brian gave us an archway and we’re renaming the bar—courtesy of Vanessa Morosco when she visited last year for Hamlet 50/50. It’s going to be called SIPS!! (Get it?)

We’re changing the colour and rebuilding the benches.
